Melissa Delasota is an Occupational Therapist (OTR) with 6 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation. She graduated top of her class in 2015 from Keiser University as an occupational therapy assistant and returned to further her education and received her Master’s in Occupational Therapy. She specializes in treating various orthopedic injuries of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. Her approach to treatment is hands-on providing skilled manual therapy such as joint mobilization techniques, IASTM, and myofascial decompression. She has taken various continuing education courses which she implements into practice such as orthosis fabrication, post-surgical fitness, orthopedic upper extremity surgical rehabilitation, and Kinesio taping. Apart from providing excellent skilled OT therapy, she is known for being incredibly caring and establishes a very strong rapport with all of her patients. Not only does she love people but she is an avid animal lover too!
