Bio:
Dr. Rafols has a combined 41 years of clinical experience in the areas of orthopedics, polytrauma, burns, traumatic brain injuries, long term care, skilled nursing rehabilitation, PM&R-(physical medicine and rehabilitation), total contact casting, acute care and home bound therapy. Dr. Rafols has served in the USN, USMC, and honorably retired in the USA with the rank of major in the Army Medical Specialty Corps as a 65-A (Occupational Therapist). Dr. Rafols obtained the SP-Corps coveted 7H Identifier (PCM-of- Neuromusculoskeletal Injuries). He has also been the director of four occupational therapy educational programs ranging from entry-level masters, to entry-level OTD to post-professional OTD programs. Dr. Rafols offers CEU/CMU courses and lectures locally, nationally and internationally and is currently a board-certified telehealth specialist provider. Dr. Rafols experience with serial casting, splinting, wound care, edema management and post trauma care impact the recovery of in/outpatient clients immediately.
